Remember more from the things you read
A note-taking method built around questions, recall and useful connections.

Start with something manageable
Highlighting can feel productive without creating a durable memory. Before reading, write one question you hope the material will answer. After a short section, close it and note the main idea in your own words.
Put it into practice
Connect the idea to something familiar and write one action or follow-up question. Review the note a day later and again after a week. Short retrieval is more useful than simply rereading the same page.
Keep in mind
Keep the system light. A paper notebook or a basic notes app is enough. The value comes from returning to the ideas, not from perfect organisation.
